Hi! Welcome to Overflow Ministry. My passion is to help others grow deeper in their faith and to challenge the thinking of our culture. I believe that God is everywhere present, all knowing and all powerful. There is nothing that God cannot do. God laid upon my heart at a very young age to live for him and to share his love with others through the relationships I develop. I love to read the Bible and books about God, as well as books that challenge my thinking and help me grow deeper in my relationship with God. Many of the posts I make will come from these times of reading. I am hopeful that this blog will be an enrouagement to you as you grow in your own relationship with God.
Overflow Ministry started back in my days as a youth director and was born out of a belief that what is in our heart eventually flows out of our mouth. What flows out of your mouth is an indication of what is in your heart. Therefore, from the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. My personal goal is that my heart be filled with the things of God and it is my desire that it would be the same for you.
God has entrusted us with his word and we need to be faithful in proclaiming its truth to others. “For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.” 1 Thessalonians 2:4
“Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.” Jude 24-25
